ABOUT TURNFEST

Established in 2003 by David Drescher, Turnfest has become Australia's largest and longest running Woodturning Symposium and is renowned throughout the world as one of if not the best Symposium going.

Turnfest features many of the world's best woodturning and carving artists and teachers from the USA, UK, Europe and of course the length and breadth of Australia.

 

Each year, David carefully selects his demonstrator panel to ensure every Turnfest event is different: giving you a fresh variety of woodturners to watch and be inspired by.

The event format, however, remains the same and consists of a meticulously planned rotation schedule showcasing the talents of the demonstrator panel. Each demonstration is repeated in order to try and allow attendees to watch any session they may have missed.
